Abstract

The present study was undertaken to analyse and compare the social maturity among school going boys and girls. The study was conducted in Jaipur city of Rajasthan State. The study was conducted on a sample of 100 school going students (50 boys and 50 girls) in Jaipur. The data were collected from a sample selected on non-random basis. Nalini Rao’s Social Maturity Scale (RSMS) was used to measure social maturity. The collected data were analysed by using mean, SD and t test. The results revealed that social maturity among boys is more as compared to girls irrespective of age group.
