Copyright Policy
Ownership of Copyright
All material published in the Indian Journal of Psychology and Education (LIPE) is the exclusive copyright of the Journal. Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors are required to transfer all rights, title, and interest in the work to the journal. This includes:
- The right to publish, reproduce, and distribute the work in print and electronic media
- The right to include the work in indexes, search databases, and e-resources
- The right to grant permission for third-party republication, with or without a fee.
2. Author Warranties and Originality
Authors must provide a signed Contributors' Undertaking Form certifying that:
- The submitted work is entirely original and has not been published elsewhere in whole or substantial part.
- The manuscript is not under concurrent consideration by any other publication
- The work does not infringe upon any existing copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights of others
3. Permissions for Pre-existing Copyrighted Work
Authors are solely responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce any previously copyrighted material used within their manuscript (eg. test instruments, tables, or figures
4. Plagiarism Policy
LIPE treats plagiarism as a serious offence. The authors are solely responsible for any legal or ethical consequences arising from plagiarised content.
5. Republication and Personal Use
- Permissions: Any request to reproduce an article or its parts must be addressed in writing to the Editor.
- Abstracts: Permission is not required to copy abstracts, provided a full and accurate reference to the original source In IJPE is given.
- Substantial Change: Authors may not publish their contribution elsewhere unless it has been changed substantially and prior written permission has been obtained from the publisher.
6. Ethical Standards
Authors must state in writing that they have complied with ethical standards in the treatment of their sample thuman or animal). Research involving human participants must respect their autonomy, dignity, and right to privacy.
