General Well-being and Adjustment: A Study Among Adolescents

Abstract

The present investigation attempted to assess the Psychological well-being (pwb) and Adjustment of adolescents. A study amongst adolescents. The sample comprise 400 adolescents (200 boys and 200 girls) of first year MBBS students of medical college in Udaipur (Rajasthan) . The participants were administered the P. G.I general well-Being scale by Verma and Verma(1989) and the Adjustment Inventory by Sinha and Singh (1971), It measures adjustment in emotional, social and educational areas. Statistical analysis included Mean ,SD,ttest and ANOVA. Results revealed significant variation in psychological well being and adjustment of boys and girls.
