Career Maturity of Secondary Level School Students of Rural and Urban Areas in Reference to West Tripura District

Abstract

Present study was aimed at investigating and analyzing the career maturity of rural and urban areas secondary level school students of West Tripura District. ‘Career Maturity Inventory’ which consists 6 (six) dimensions, i.e. career choice attitude, self-appraisal, occupational information, goal selection, planning, problem solving ability etc. was used for collection of data regarding career maturity of 300 secondary level school students of West Tripura District. For interpretation and analysis of data, both descriptive and inferential methods were used for data analysis. The results revealed that career maturity of secondary level school students of rural and urban areas differ significantly.
