Quality of Work Life in Relation to Role Stress amongst Higher and Middle Level Jaipur Developmen8t Authority Employees

The present study aimed at examining the relationship between quality of work life and role stress among higher level and middle level Jaipur Development Authority Employees. The total sample of the study consists of 100 employees out of which 30 were higher level employees and other 70 were middle level employees. The higher level employees included the decision making body while middle level employees included those who implement the policies made by higher level employees. The tools used were Quality of Work Life Inventory (Sinha and Sayeed 1980) and Organizational Role Stress Scale (Udai Pareek,1983). Data were analyzed using ttest and simple correlation. Results indicate that Quality of Work Life is negatively correlated with organizational role stress in higher and middle level of employees.
