Impact of Self-efficacy on Job Motivation in Higher Education

In the present investigation, the interactions of vital phenomenon of higher education and behaviour, in the form of variables of study are incorporated. The present study is framed as, “Impact of Self Efficacy on Job Motivation among Teaching and Non-Teaching University Employees”. Participants of the study were taken from various departments and faculties Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The sample size was N=100, with teaching category of university employees (N=50) and non-teaching category of university employees (N=50), respectively. The age of the employees ranged from 30-55 years. The assessment measures taken for the study were Personal Self Efficacy Scale of Singh and Kumari (1989) and secondly, Job Motivation Scale by Akhtar and Manju (1992). Data were analyzed by calculating co-efficient of Correlation. Findings revealed a significant association of self-efficacy with job motivation.a
