Abstract

The objective of the study was to explore relationships between happiness, locus of control and aggression in undergraduate students. The sample consisted of 100 undergraduate students. Locus of Control Scale, Oxford Happiness Inventory and Aggression Questionnaire were administered to the respondents. The data were analyzed by using Pearson product moment correlation and regression analysis. The results revealed internal locus of control to have a significant positive relationship with happiness and happiness has a significant negative relationship with aggression. Internal and external locus of control both correlated negatively with aggression. Regression analysis revealed that locus of control does not predict aggression however it is a predictor for happiness.
