Abstract

The study was intended to explore the sports achievement motivation, anxiety as well as personality factors among 200 university level players, i.e 100 male and 100 female players. The sample was selected on the basis of stratified sampling technique. MAT, SCAT and MPI tests were used for data collection. Results were analyzed with the help t test. Results revealed that male players have high level of sports achievement motivation and anxiety levels compared to females.
