Adjustment Problems among Tribal and Non- Tribal Students in Kerala

The study examined whether there is significant difference between tribal and non-tribal students in the different domains of adjustment. The sample consisted of 120 higher secondary girl students (tribal- 60, non- tribal= 60), purposively chosen from the various government schools and model residential schools in different districts of Kerala. The data were collected using Adjustment Battery. Results revealed that non-tribal students were better in all the domains of adjustment compared to tribal counterparts. The implications of the results are discussed.
