Exploring the Relationship between Character Strength and Learning Style amongst Youth: An ICT Approach

Abstract

The paper focused on ICT based learning process and psychometric testing to discover the ICT applications and role in the discipline of Psychology. In this paper, an electronic environment has been developed which supports activities of e-psychology. A psycho-cognitive profile is generated to investigate the correlation of Learning Styles with Character Strengths in youth. Results in general indicates that learning styles are significantly correlated to persistence, religiousness, kindness and team work out of twenty four character strengths. The study implies that specific learning style may be used to strengthen teaching learning scenario of particular character strengths. Sample of N=549 was chosen using purposive sampling technique. The Pearson coefficient was calculated and correlation was verified using regression method.
