Abstract

Present study was planned to examine the relationship of achievement motivation with locus of control and self-efficacy among 10th grade students. It was hypothesized that locus of control and self-efficacy will have significant association with achievement motivation among adolescence students. A purposive sample of 400 students (equal number of boys and girls) was selected from English medium schools of Jaipur city. Locus of control scale, self-efficacy scale, achievement value anxiety inventory (AVAI) were administered. Data were analyzed by calculating coefficient of correlation. Locus of control was found to be positively correlated with achievement motivation. The results revealed that self-efficacy was significantly positively correlated with achievement motivation.
