Effect of Concept Attainment Model on Academic Achievement in Hindi in Relation to Learning Approaches

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of concept attainment model based instructions on students’ achievement in Hindi grammar in relation to their learning approach. The pre-test-post-test control group experimental design was used to conduct this study. Out of 129 students, 64 were in the experimental group and 65 were in the control group. The study examined how the concept attainment model based instructions endeavoured to support learning of students in Hindi grammar. The results revealed that model based instructions lead to better achievement in Hindi grammar. It also revealed that students having deep learning approach outperformed the students having surface learning approach on achievement in Hindi grammar.
